Graphic for the communication of the MACBA exhibition “Mari Chordà … and many other things.”
This exhibition, curated by Teresa Grandas, pays tribute to Mari Chordà, a prominent painter, poet, and feminist activist from Catalonia.

Her work, overflowing with energy and strength, reflects the struggle for the visibility of women and delves into female sexuality. Through her pictorial and poetic art, Chordà challenges taboos and celebrates the essence of the female body, creating a world that fuses eroticism, self-representation, and resistance. In her works, she employs vibrant flat colors that flow into sinuous and abstract forms.

The graphic uses “LLÀGRIMES,” 1968, as the central work. It also incorporates recompositions of the forms of her works to showcase the different aspects of her life through photographs.
